This pre-trimmed riser (PTR) integrates directly into commercial and industrial fire sprinkler networks to protect sensitive facilities such as data centers, museums, archives, and cold storage. Utilizing a double interlock configuration, the system requires two independent conditions—the activation of an electric fire detection system and a drop in supervisory pressure—before water enters the piping. This dual-activation mechanism safeguards mission-critical assets against secondary water damage.
Designed to satisfy NFPA 13 compliance requirements, the assembly features a monitored release solenoid that continuously ensures the integrity of the release circuit. The integrated EA-1 Electronic Accelerator samples air pressure twice per second, enabling rapid response times during a confirmed fire event.
