The Viking VK5141 K28 ESFR PD Fast Response Sprinkler protects industrial facilities and high-piled storage racks by delivering rapid water suppression during fire outbreaks. This pendant configuration mounts directly to overhead wet pipe fire suppression systems, utilizing an orientation designed to maximize ceiling water distribution over demanding manufacturing spaces.
Engineered to comply with NFPA 13 regulations for early suppression fast response systems, this component satisfies rigorous commercial life safety requirements. The sensitive glass bulb triggers high-volume discharge at precise heat thresholds, allowing you to achieve early intervention when protecting high-risk environments.
You get reliable performance in harsh environments thanks to the durable ductile iron construction that withstands high-pressure conditions. The high K-factor of 28.0 (404 metric) delivers substantial water flow optimized for large spaces. InstaSeal compatibility gives you a secure, leak-proof connection that simplifies your installation and maintenance tasks.
