The Kidde Single Input Module acts as a reliable interface component within commercial fire alarm and life safety assemblies. It connects normally open dry contact initiating device circuits—such as alarm, supervisory, or monitor points—directly to the Kidde intelligent control panel, ensuring precise system responsiveness in critical environments.
This module fulfills the system integration criteria governed by NFPA 72 for fire alarm signaling and monitoring infrastructure. It provides four selectable personality codes to customize zone behavior, including alarm latching, delayed alarm latching, non-latching monitor, or latching supervisory operations.
