Printing Tips

• Silk-like PLA generally prints best slightly hotter and slower than standard PLA.
• Reducing outer-wall speed can improve gloss, surface finish, and layer adhesion.
• Because silk additives can reduce layer adhesion compared with standard PLA, this material is best suited for decorative and visual parts rather than heavily loaded structural components.
• For stronger parts, increase wall count, use adequate infill, print slightly hotter, and avoid excessive part cooling.
