Changeover vehicle? If a Model Y was built around March 2025, do not decide from registration year alone. Compare the physical mirror shell with the chosen mold or ask TESERY to confirm before ordering.
Overlay, not replacement shell
The factory cap stays underneath.
This approach avoids mirror-glass removal and changes the visible upper surface with a single molded layer. Correct edge seating matters because the added cap follows the mirror through every fold cycle.
Dry-fit both sides and identify left/right before bonding.
Confirm the cap does not touch the mirror glass, camera area, trim or body during folding.
Stop if a cap rocks, needs force or leaves an uneven perimeter gap.

Matching carbon parts: weave direction, scale, resin tone and clearcoat can differ between products or production batches. A perfect match with an existing spoiler or camera cover is not guaranteed.
DIY installation
Clean, dry-fit, align, then bond.
Prepare
Remove wax, oil, dust and moisture with a surface-safe cleaner; work at a suitable temperature.
Dry-fit
With the liner intact, check every edge and the mirror-folding path on both sides.
Bond
Align the long outer edge first, expose adhesive progressively and avoid trapping stress.
Set and inspect
Press the full perimeter evenly, allow the bond to set and recheck after several fold cycles.
Do not compensate for a wrong mold with extra tape or force. Fitment must be natural before adhesive is exposed.

Does it fit Model Y Juniper and Model YL?
Yes, the live selector now includes a dedicated “Model Y Juniper 2025+ & Model YL 2026+” mold. Select that group rather than the pre-refresh Model Y option.
Does one order cover both mirrors?
The product title, imagery and cap presentation indicate a matched left/right set. Inspect both pieces and confirm their shapes before installation.
Will mirror folding still work?
The cap is designed to preserve normal folding, but correct mold choice and alignment are essential. Test several complete fold cycles while parked before driving.
Can it be removed later?
Removal effort and residue vary with surface preparation, bond time, temperature and paint condition. Use careful detailing technique; residue-free removal cannot be guaranteed.
What should I know about returns?
Confirm the vehicle mold and dry-fit both caps before exposing adhesive. Installed or adhesive-exposed items may have restricted eligibility; review the current refund policy.
